Mayan Calendar of Humanity

Seeds, Snakes and Snails

We study historical data to get perspectives, points of reference that expand our mind. All ancestral cultures used the same calendrical system; which today we identify as mayan. This system is formed by three mechanisms that run in parallel: Sacred, Solar and Sidereal Account. Each is a primary aspect of the Original Myth, which is associated with the three symbols used to write it. Seashells, seeds and snakes; symbols of void, consciousness and energy. The snail is the Underworld flag, our hip; the bar is the ladder that connects Earth with Heaven, our backbone; and the seed, the Divine Unity, our head.
The first step to recognize dates of the mayan calendar of humanity, are the three symbols used to express it. A snail or seashell represents Zero; one point, Unity; and a line is number Five. With just three elements we build all the numbers.

We represent with points from One to Four. Five is a bar, for Six we place a point over the bar, until Nine with four points over the bar. Ten is formed with two bars and Fifteen with three. This system is used up to Nineteen.
To write twenty we use a structure, a ladder in which the number of each level is multiplied by a defined quantity. The floor, the earth is the unit, the seed. The second level represents twenty, the number of days in a month. So we represent twenty by placing a point on the second level and a shell, zero, on the first.
To express 100 we place a bar on the second level of the account. A second bar on the first floor produces 105. Two bars and three points on the second level, produce 260: the number of days that make up the Sacred Calendar.
Three bars and three points, that is, 18 units on the second level, added to a bar at the bottom, generate 365 days: the duration of the solar year. This drawing of dots and stripes describes the solar calendar which is made of 18 cycles or moons of 20 days; plus five days that the Nahua calls Nemontemi and means ¨What is Missing to Complete¨.

Sidereal Long Account

The Mayan calendar is the sidereal account that follows the precession of the equinoxes, that is, the movement of the celestial dome, making a complete turn in 25,680 years. It is also called Long Count, since it measures the passage of 1,872,000 days; just over 5,125 years.
The sidereal account is written using a five-level structure, which represents the five chakras in the central channel of human beings. Five wheels of days, months, years, decades and centuries.
From a defined day, we start adding days. The first wheel accumulates up to 19, when it is filled with 20 days or Kin, it disappears from the base of the account and becomes a point or unit in the higher order. The next level is the Uinal, twenty, which only reaches 18, producing cycles of 360 days.

Units and orders of the long account
Mayan  Days Equivalence
Kin         1 -
Uinal      20 -     20 Kin
Tun         360 - 18 Uinal
Katun     7,200 -   20 Tun
Baktun   144,000 - 20 Katun

The third order is the Tun, formed by 360 days, this level reaches up to 19. The fourth order, the Katun, also reaches 19, and is formed by multiplying 20 by 360, so each Katun is 7200 Kin, days. The last order the Baktun reaches 13, multiplied by 20 katun or groups of 144,000 days (7,200 x 20) gives us 1872,000 kin, days.
In 2012, I deciphered the Mayan calendar. Located its start date on January 22, 3121ac, completing its cycle on June 5, 2005. During the research process I discovered that all the rock art in the world, from its first representations more than 64 thousand years ago, already used this sophisticated mathematical mechanism. Which tells us that our ancestors were great thinkers that we have described as primitive. When are us modern humans, who have failed to read their records, until now.

Gotland, Sweden

A single work of art is enough to understand that current and ancestral knowledge are one. Located in Gotland, the Land of God, Sweden, the Von Djupbrunns talisman or bracelet contains a Mayan calendar date, which marks the beginning of the solar year as well as a leap adjustment to the account. Under the horse, the Swastika is the flag of the solar year, the account of 18 twenties plus five days, to form 365. At the horse's neck three points are the flag of the Mayan sidereal account. Throughout the animal, inside a cartridge we read 1.2.10.10.1.

To identify what date represents, we perform five multiplications, each by its corresponding magnitude order, and add the result. This shows us the number of days elapsed from the point of origin, on january 21, 3,122 BC.

1 x 144,000 144,000
2 x 7,200 14,400
10 x 360 3,600
10 x 20 200
1 x 1 1

The sum generates 162,201 days, equivalent to 444 years plus 33 days, which brings us to february 23, 2,678bc. In front of the horse we observe six points, separated in two. Five facing the leg of the steed and one facing the neck. They represent the five days Nemontemi, plus a reborn day, the leap. The solar cycle ended that year on february 22, which marks the beginning of the new year as of february 23.
The main challenge for modern human beings is to set limits to our experience.  Territorial boundaries are a constant source of conflict. In ancient times the annual cycle was used to strengthen borders and peace. On the first day of the year, the inhabitants of a place gathered at the limits of their territory; in front of a stone they made offerings to the spirit of Jupiter. On the opposite side, the owners of the following land did the same. Generating a celebration that spread throughout the earth. Since the four directions were recognized.

“When it was considered necessary to add (every two years) an intercalary month of 22 or 23 days, so that the calendar year corresponds to the natural year (solar), this interleaving was preferably carried out in February, between Terminalia [23] and Regifugium [ 24]. "Censorinus III century

More than 2,000 years ago, Rome celebrated february 23 (date at the Gotland Talisman) as the beginning of the year; same day as the Mexica began the account of 18 twenties plus five days, during a leap year. The word february means purification, it’s message is to detoxify us, physically, psychologically and energetically. In the same way we increase a leap day to february every 4 years, did our ancestors since the Neanderthal era.
